Over the years I have joined several gyms to try and help me lose weight.  One gym gave a free session with a Personal Trainer. I was so excited to have a professional create a routine that would help me to become slim.

During the session he did not ask me many questions about exercise or about my diet, he talked about pushing myself physically to see a difference and in order to be slim I would need to learn to be hungry. 

Physically hungry.

That thin people ate so little that they got used to being hungry.

That was normal!?

I found out later, when I finally was losing weight, that he was wrong.

Very wrong.

Food is fuel and by not eating you are not fueling your body so may not have the energy to exercise or even do your normal routine.

It is important how you fuel your body, not to just eat anything,  but you should not go hungry.  That leads to overeating or eating the wrong foods.
