This could not possibly work for me,
It can be safe to do the same thing – going on the newest diet, or the last diet that you lost weight on.

Because it is safe.

It is Known.

Trying something new, different takes us into the unknown.

I could be someone different, for whom weight loss is easy, or who didn’t have to lose much.

Both are wrong!

If it was easy, why was I overweight for over 10 years?

If I didn’t have a lot to lose, why is the heaviest weight my Fitbit recorded me at, is over 170 pounds more than my current weight?

It is easy to say that it would not work for you, that is safe, staying the weight you are. I know, I was there.

Becoming your ideal weight is going into the unknown, your mind wants to keep you safe by giving you excuses not to change.

Been there.

I used to tell myself that it would not work, that it was woowoo and to simple to be lasting.

I was wrong.

That voice was my mind trying to keep me safe, keep me in the know of the status quo.

Once I let that go, the change began.
