When we change what we eat we can reduce or remove some foods from our diet we can cause reactions in our body. Certain foods cause withdrawal symptoms.  They can be so bad that you can quit eating healthy and binge on unhealthy food or drink.

If as you change your diet you know about withdrawal you can look for solutions and know that it will not last forever.

Withdrawal can occur with caffeine, sugar, processed foods and msg (food flavour enhancer).  It can make you irritable, and crave more. It can last two weeks or more, each person can be different. If you think you might be experiencing withdrawal symptoms from food contact a doctor or nutritionist for advice.
