Fitness – If it came in a bottle, everybody would have a great body. 


I was volunteering at a half marathon, handing out water to the runners a few months back, not being able to run that distance I felt involved by cheering the participants on and giving them water to help keep them going. At the very end there were three young ladies who were having a heated conversation, turns out they did not know a half marathon was just over 13 miles and how long that actually is. With very little preparation they tried to run, but there was no end in site.

It can be scary and intimidating to look at where you are now and where you wish you were. If we break down the distance between those two points and make smaller goals called milestones we will find that it is more manageable and we reach our goal feeling energised.

You have had a few days to find out what your average number of steps is per day. That is the starting point.

Grab a cup of your favourite drink, put your earbuds in if you need to and goto a quiet space and get comfortable.  Then complete today’s lesson here .
