Habits can take years to form, will not be changed instantly. I have over 20 years experience helping people to create new habits so know it is possible, you can do it, even if you have tried in the past.
For example when you started the last diet, you decided to jump in and follow it to the letter. You read the notes and made sure you ate the amounts they recommended. It seemed easy to start until something happened, you had a bad day at work, some bad news, were tired of being hungry.
Or just slipped back into your old habit, filling the plate up, eating food not on the diet plan.
That does not mean that you cannot change that habit forever.
The first thing to know is that overeating is not just one habit, it is made up of smaller habits.
How do I know?
I have been there and I did it, so can you. Each of my programs shows techniques to change your habits, but instead of asking you to change everything all at once, which as you know never lasts, we work on one at a time.
Lets start with 3 small things.
You may not know you are changing habits, that is the perfect. It should not feel difficult, or a struggle.

- Use a slightly smaller plate or bowl for meals.
- While are you chewing your food, put your cutlery down, move your hands away.
- Chew slowly, enjoy what you are eating and savour your meal.
